LENEVA PARK JOINS NEW LOVATSVILLE PARTNERSHIP
Leneva Park is excited to announce an innovative partnership with new Victorian stallion station Lovatsville ahead of the 2024 breeding season.
Lovatsville, headed by well-known bloodstock figure Sam White, is the result of a partnership among several key industry stakeholders, including Leneva Park and Seymour Bloodstock.
Lovatsville will replace the Leneva Park brand in the stallion market from the 2024 breeding season and will be the new home for exciting Deep Impact sire Fierce Impact.
Leneva Park will continue to operate its state-of-the-art pre-training and early education facility at Longwood near Euroa, providing crucial preparatory training and rehabilitation services to several of Australia's leading stables.
"I am incredibly proud of what our stallion operation has achieved in three short years. We started completely from scratch and built a strong book of clients who shared real belief in our business and our stallions. The fruit of that work is now being realised in the sales ring and on the racetrack," said Leneva Park General Manager, Mick Sharkie.
"To continue to grow and compete in a modern market, innovation is critical. We believe in strength in numbers and from our view, partnership is the future of thoroughbred breeding in Australia. The partners involved in Lovatsville bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table, it's an exciting new dawn."
Importantly, Leneva Park retains its major shareholding in the popular three-time Group 1 winning stallion Fierce Impact, a stallion that will continue to enjoy vigorous support from a dedicated shareholder group.
"Having worked closely with Sam over the last two years, I have great confidence in handing over the keys to Fierce Impact as do the rest of the shareholders. Leneva has based our breeding program around the stallion and that commitment continues," said Sharkie.
"Leneva Park has set a strong foundation for success for Fierce Impact and Royal Meeting and I know Lovatsville will build on that while bringing fresh, sexy new stallion prospects to breeders."
Joining Fierce Impact and Royal Meeting on the Lovatsville stallion roster for 2024 will be the Melbourne Cup hero GOLD TRIP and freshman Snitzel speedster, GENERATION.
Gold Trip commences stud duties with a sensational CV. He was a classy Cup winner who dropped some of the world's best middle distance horses including Hong Kong champion Romantic Warrior in the Group 1 Turnbull Stakes, he stands his first season at $8,800 (inc GST).
An extremely attractive colt, out of the dual Group winning two-year-old Fontiton, Generation will stand at an introductory fee of $11,000 (incl. GST).
