Royal Meeting in Amazing Shape

Breeders are in for a treat when they lay eyes on ROYAL MEETING at Leneva Park in the lead up to the 2021 thoroughbred breeding season.

The Group 1 winning son of Invincible Spirit is the vision of his famous father and was described by one experienced breeder as "the absolute clone of his old man."

"That is the sort of feedback that you hope for - we have certainly been pleased with how the horse has let down in the last 12 months. I know our operations manager Brian Byrnes can't wipe the smile off his face!" said General Manager Michael Sharkie.

"Brian did an amazing job last year getting 88 mares to the horse virtually sight unseen with everyone stuck at home due to COVID, we were stoked to secure the horse to stand in Victoria for the next three years through AQUIS, I think we're all in for a good result."

Royal Meeting will stand his second season at stud at an unchanged fee of $11,000 (inc GST) with the phone already ringing with early bookings.

"There is real belief in the horse and if his first foals look anything like him that momentum will only build as the season gets going," said Operations Manager Brian Byrnes.
